Founding of Hydro-Innovation
Hydro-Innovation is founded, specializing in trash rack design, manufacturing, and representing Esac turbines and Bridgestone rubber dams in the Canadian market.
Founding of Mecan-Hydro
Mecan-Hydro is established, focusing on custom-designed mechanical equipment for hydropower and spillways, including steel gates, hoists, trash rakes, and stop logs.
Merger with Hydro-Innovation:
Mecan-Hydro merges with Hydro-Innovation, expanding its product offerings and business operations beyond Quebec.
New Rubber Dam Partnership
Following Bridgestone's discontinuation of rubber dam manufacturing, Mecan-Hydro becomes the North American distributor for Floecksmühle Rubber Dams.
New Warehouse Construction
A new warehouse is built to support the company's growing operations and storage needs.
Founding of M2i
Mecan-Hydro establishes M-2I, a division dedicated to maintenance and installation services, enhancing the company's ability to provide turnkey solutions.
Major Facility Expansion
